400 kanals forest land retrieved in Chenab Valley | KNO

BHADERWAH,JAN 27 (KNO) : In a major achievement, the Forest department has retrieved 400 Kanal of Forest land from encroachers in compartment number 107 and 109 of Bhalessa range of forest division Bhaderwah here today and land has been fenced permanently .A team comprising Range Officer,Bhalessa ,Sameer Reshu performed this task under an operation which was coordinated at circle level by the Conservator of Forests,Chenab Circle,Doda T B Singh IFS .He has ordered fencing of retrieved area immediately to prevent from any further encroachment."The Forest Department retrieved 400 kanals of forest land during an anti-encroachment drive in Tuti Inhara and Pura area of Bhalessa range in Bhaderwah division ", CF Chenab circle said. The staff of forest department faced stiff resistance, however, it succeeded in retrieving 400 kanal of forests land from the possession of encroacher's, he added. The team dismantled boundary walls and removed the brush wood fencing put up by the encroacher's.(KNO)
